2. Non-Returnable & Exempt Items

  • Used or damaged candles, or items exhibiting signs of wear due to improper handling or storage.
  • Custom-made or personalized orders, unless they arrive in a defective or damaged condition.
  • Items purchased during final sale or clearance events, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

3. Return & Exchange Process

To ensure a structured and efficient return process, please adhere to the following steps:

Step 1: Initiate a Return Request

  • The request should include order details, a brief reason for the return, and photographic evidence (if applicable).

Step 2: Approval & Return Authorization

  • Once the request is received, our team will review the case and respond within 24 to 48 hours with further instructions.
  • If approved, the customer will be issued a Return Authorization Number (RAN) along with the return shipping details.
  • Unauthorized returns or shipments sent without prior approval may be rejected.

Step 3: Shipping & Handling

  • Customers are responsible for securely packaging the product and shipping it to the designated return address provided in the approval email.
  • Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, except in cases of incorrect or defective products.
  • We strongly recommend using a trackable courier service, as House Of Mahek is not liable for lost or undelivered returns.

4. Refund Policy

Once the returned item is received, it undergoes a thorough inspection to verify compliance with our return conditions.

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 24 hours of inspection completion.
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method or as store credit (wallet balance), based on customer preference.
  • Refund processing times may vary depending on the financial institution.
  • In case of rejected refunds, the customer will be notified with a reason for non-approval, and the item may be returned at the customer’s expense.

5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

We strive to ensure that every order reaches you in pristine condition. However, if you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery by providing:

  • Clear photographs of the product and packaging.
  • A detailed description of the issue.

Upon verification, we will provide one of the following resolutions at no additional cost to you:

  • A replacement product, subject to availability.
  • A full refund to your original payment method.
